This Course is designed to introduce students, working professionals and the community to the exciting field of Cyber Security. Throughout the MOOC, participants will engage in learning all the aspects of Cyber Security and will gain knowledge and understanding about the underlying principles of cybersecurity. This course will help the participant(s) to know basic security steps, an individual / organization can take to be safe and secure. Also this course will help the participant to understand the impact of cyber-attack/crime with real world examples. Additionally this course will also highlight various domains of cyber security. You do not need prior experience in IT security to do well in this course. All you need is a willingness to learn. We will guide you with relevant open source and free tools that will help you in understanding the field in a much better way. Course Objective(s): 1. Cyber security awareness to prevent cyber-crimes. 2. Understanding the fundamentals of cyber security. 3. Exploring various aspects of cyber security. 4. Understanding basic cyber security challenges and attacks.
